Wednesday Night POWERHOUSE
Charles Spurgeon, the great Baptist preacher in London back in the mid to late 1800's, loved to point people to the strategic prayer room of his church. He called it the "boiler room," or the "powerhouse." Every service, hundreds of his people would meet there for prayer to beg God for His power and blessing on their pastor and church.
With that backdrop, we have endeavored at Grace Baptist Church to hold a "Powerhouse" meeting every Wednesday night. Most of the powerhouse meetings are at our church location, but on the fourth Wednesday of every month we meet in four strategic homes. See the schedule below and come join us!
Each Wednesday night of the month will feature something a little different:
- 1st Wednesday - Traditional Bible Study & Prayer Time at 7:00 pm
- 2nd Wednesday - Soup & Salad Supper at 6:30 pm, followed by Round Table Bible Study & Prayer downstairs
- 3rd Wednesday - Missions Emphasis Night at 6:45 pm, featuring a guest missionary and/or Ladies and Men for Missions groups
- 4th Wednesday - POWERHOUSE Bible Study Home Groups at 6:30 pm in representative homes surrounding Parker
- 5th Wednesday - Outreach & Community Night at 6:45 pm, featuring guest speakers and/or outreach ministry to the community
Our Motto at Grace: A House of Prayer Reaching Homes for Christ.
